DRC - About

Dr. V. S. KRISHNA GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE (A), VISAKHAPATNAM

DISTRICT RESOURCE CENTRE

The District Resource Centre is constituted by the Commissioner Of Collegiate, Education to reach the rural students by sharing the resources /expertise among the Government Degree Colleges as the 75% of the Students of Government Colleges belong to the marginalized sections of society who face several shortages and need additional support.

DRC helps to interconnect academically with other colleges in the state and share resources and can bring multiple advantages to students and teachers of all colleges of the group of weaker colleges in particular, if they are connected with each other.

Hence, it is decided to develop a well established Government College into a “District Resource Centre” (DRC) and academically network all Government Colleges in the District with the DRC for better utilization of resources and expertise  for the benefit of the students in general and of rural Colleges in particular.

Nodal Resource Center

Our college's Nodal Resource Centre (NRC) is a centralized hub for various resources and support services for students and faculty. This can include providing information on academic programs, career guidance, counseling services, library resources, and other campus facilities. We act as a point of contact for accessing information and assistance and facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments and groups within the college. Our goal as a nodal resource centre is to enhance the overall academic and social experience of everyone in the college community.
