The National Cadet Corps is an Indian military cadet corps with its Headquarters at New Delhi, Delhi, India. It is open to school and college students on voluntary basis. National Cadet Corps is a Tri-Services Organization, comprising the Army, Navy and Air Force, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens.


There are 3 NCC units in Dr.V.S.Krishna Government Degree College (Autonomous) – 2 for boys and 1 for girls, both Army and Navy units are functioning in the college.  The NCC cadets of the Army wing are selected every year to participate in the Republic Day Parade at New Delhi.  The NCC cadets of Navy wing are given training in ship modeling and ship designing.    They are proving their talent and receiving prizes and awards. The students are advised to join NCC and develop all the necessary skills to join armed forces or the police department.
