ABOUT US:

.The Department was established in the year of 1968 with the Under Graduate (UG) courses were started with B.Sc., combination of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Later on many combinations of UG chemistry courses were successfully launched. Besides, our department has started the self finance Post Graduate Courses in Chemistry especially, the Analytical Chemistry in June-2003 and the Organic Chemistry in July-2005. The department has also research centre with Research Supervisors.

To nurture young minds with global skill set, hands on experience and core values to build chemically literate Society and Nation.

  • Involving the students in study and research projects.
  • Arranging industrial visits and Field trips for direct experience.
  • Inculcation of human values and scientific ethics among the students.
  • Exposure of the students to advanced laboratory techniques through industries.
  • Guiding the students for admission into reputed national institutes for their higher studies.
  • Adapting blended-learning and advanced learning techniques for better understanding.
