Department of Mathematics
1. HISTORY
The department of Mathematics in this college was established in August 1968. The
department has a built up area of 20sq. meters.
2. OBJECTIVES
The main aim of the members of the department is to provide good knowledge in
Mathematics to students and to create an opportunity for the students to understand
themselves, oncepts and problem solving techniques so that they confidently write the
competitive examinations for entering into higher studies etc..
Besides teaching mathematical analysis we also exhort the students about the students about
the importance of analytical approach in all aspects of working in their day to day life, thus
making them good useful citizens of our country.

At present the department offers Mathematics with the following combinations.
