The Department of History aims to build its students’ transferable and employability skills,and to creatawareness about the past and its legacies.

Mission: 

The Department of History is committed to translate this vision into action by

  •  Inculcating transferable skills like Critical thinking, Time management, Communication skills, Problem solving, Logical argumentation, Project management and Teamwork.
  •  Creating  a syllabus that reflects the local, regional, National and international culture and heritage.
  •  Transforming  the students into citizens who are critically informed about the past and its consequences for the present.
